Tori Charmoli, Assoc. AIA
Architectural Designer
Growing up in the Chicagoland area, Tori has had a long-standing admiration for the city of Chicago. Now residing here, Tori hopes to create a positive impact on the community and bring needed spaces to neighborhoods all around the city and beyond. Tori received a Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and specialized in Design/Build.
At Yu & Associates Collaborative, Tori has contributed to a wide range of projects, from high-end single-family homes to multi-phase urban planning developments. As a member of our self-directed team, Tori has had valuable experience guiding projects through all phases, working directly with clients, and collaborating closely with our consultants. Before joining our team, Tori worked at JGMA, where she focused on public projects, including educational facilities and the O'Hare Airport Terminal 5 renovation. Through architectural education and work experience, Tori has gained a profound interest in sustainable construction and social impacts on the built environment.
Outside of work, Tori has participated in the Arts in the Dark parade as a member of the Architects Guild hosted by Architecture for Public Benefit. Tori also volunteers at Nourishing Hope, a nonprofit focused on fighting food insecurity and poverty by providing a mix of food access, mental health care, and social services.
In her free time, Tori enjoys traveling, playing percussion, and spending time with family and friends. Tori resides in the Lakeview East/Buena Park neighborhood with her partner.
