Tori joined Yu & Associates Collaborative as an architectural designer in the winter of 2023. She is currently a fifth-year Bachelor of Architecture student at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), with a specialization in design/build.

At Yu & Associates Collaborative, Tori has contributed to multiple residential projects in and around Chicago. Most recently, she was a key project team member designing the Cultured Cottage, a new high-end custom home in Hinsdale, IL. Before joining our team, Tori worked at JGMA where she focused on public projects such as educational facilities and the O'Hare Airport Terminal 5 renovation.

While in school, Tori was part of the design team for the iitdesignbuild India Project and a member of the 2024 IIT Open House Curation team. Through these projects, Tori learned a lot about construction and exhibition design, and has gained a profound interest in sustainability and social impacts on the built environment.

In her free time, Tori enjoys hiking, producing music, and cooking with family and friends. She lives in the Wicker Park neighborhood with her two roommates and their chihuahua-husky mix, Jojo.
